A renowned social activist with over 32 years of project management experience in the NGO and development sectors, Dr. Beema holds an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Bangalore.
Concern for Working Children (CWC): Dr. Beema worked for three years (1993 to 1995) as a Coordinator at CWC, a voluntary non-governmental organization dedicated to eradicating child labor and promoting children's rights in Bangalore and various districts of Karnataka. He managed grassroots activities and made significant contributions to the NGO during this time.
Paraspara Trust: From 1995 to 2003, Dr. Beema served as Program Director at Paraspara Trust, an NGO focused on eliminating child labor and promoting community-based organizations, women’s groups, and youth initiatives. He networked with other NGOs and collaborated with government entities to achieve the organization’s goals related to community development and child rights.
Founder of IPDP (Integrated Project for Development of People): In 2004, Dr. Beema co-founded IPDP with a group of dedicated social workers and like-minded individuals committed to serving the poor, marginalized, and disadvantaged members of society. The organization emphasizes education, health, basic amenities, and vocational training, with a focus on women’s empowerment and child rights. Dr. Beema has successfully executed numerous projects through training, workshops, and community-based interventions. He has prioritized service and awareness in all programs, facilitating effective communication between the community and government, resulting in fruitful outcomes. IPDP organizes various awareness programs for slum communities and empowers them to advocate for their rights.
